MANHATTAN — Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a woman in the lobby of a Hamilton Heights apartment building.
Cops say the suspect entered the lobby of 504 W. 143rd St. at about 7 a.m. on Sunday, and began a conversation with the victim. He then grabbed the woman's pocketbook and ran out of the building. According to cops, the woman ran after him, but was unable to catch the suspect.
The NYPD said the woman did recover her handbag, but some of her property was missing from it. She was not injured.
