MANHATTAN — Police arrested a 50-year-old man for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a SoHo subway station earlier this month.

Samuel Mangum, of Staten Island, allegedly approached the 42-year-old victim from behind as she stepped onto the M train at the Broadway-Lafayette Street station at 10 a.m. on Nov. 10, the NYPD said.

He then sexually assaulted her and fled, police said. There were no reported injuries.

Mangum is charged with third-degree sexual abuse in the alleged attack, police added.

Over the weekend, police provided surveillance footage and a photo of a suspect entering the station.
