Elderly Man Robbed in Lobby of Gramercy Home

MANHATTAN — A 77-year-old man was robbed in the vestibule of his Gramercy home in broad daylight by a bespectacled thief, police said.

The attack, which was captured on surveillance video, shows the victim pushing a cart in the lobby of his building on Nov. 3 at 5:15 p.m. Police did not disclose the address.

The suspect, wearing a baseball hat and glasses, follows him in, pushes him against the wall and grabs his cash before fleeing, police said.

The victim was not injured.

Cops say the suspect is 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds.
