MANHATTAN — A city school teacher came unhinged when cops tried to cuff him for blocking traffic in the SoHo as he handed out Occupy Wall Street pamphlets — shoving a shopping cart at the officers, sources said.

David Suker, 43, who is assigned to Bronx Regional HS, was blocking traffic at Prince and Thompson streets at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday while giving out literature for the anti-corporate greed movement, according to the sources.

When cops tried to arrest him, Suker, of Sayville, LI, allegedly pushed a shopping cart at them, but none of the officers were injured.

Police said that Suker was charged with attempted assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration.

The Department of Education declined comment and referred the matter to the NYPD.

Suker's family also declined comment.
