MANHATTAN — There's still time to find a flannel shirt.

"Pearl Jam Twenty," the documentary marking the 20th anniversary of the iconic grunge band, opens at the IFC Center on Friday.

The Cameron Crowe film pulls from more than 1,200 hours of footage of the band's performances and interviews, according to the IFC Center's website

"'Pearl Jam Twenty' is the definitive portrait of Pearl Jam: part concert film, part intimate insider-hang, part testimonial to the power of music and uncompromising artists," the film's website reads.

The Seattle band has also released a 29-song film soundtrack for $19.98 and a book for $34.99.

Superfans can buy "Pearl Jam Twenty"-branded T-shirts, hoodies, backpacks, keychains, hats and two styles of Vans shoes.

Showings of the film begin at the IFC Center, at 323 Sixth Ave., 10:55 a.m. Friday.

In the trailer for the film, frontman Eddie Vedder, now 46 and a father of two, remembers beginning to play music as a teenager.

"When you sit in your room playing guitar, you don't have to worry about being successful. It's not going to happen. It's just not going to happen," he said.
