UPPER WEST SIDE — This thief was looking for a different kind of dough.

A sweet-toothed criminal struck a bakery delivery truck recently, stealing $79 worth of Entenmann's baked goods, police said.

The bakery bandit made off with six boxes of Entenmann's cakes and 32 boxes of Entenmann's cookies, according to police. The theft happened while the Bimbo Bakery truck driver was parked outside 210 Amsterdam Ave., near West 70th Street, on Aug. 24, police said.

The driver left the truck to make deliveries at 4:30 a.m., according to police. When he returned at 6 a.m., he found the door ajar and the treats missing, police added.
