LOWER EAST SIDE — Move over, Chelsea.
Dozens of art galleries from East Houston Street to East Broadway will join to together for the first time to kick off the start of gallery season next month.
The opening night event will see about 50 galleries in the burgeoning art district open from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday., Sept. 7, according to the Lower East Side Business Improvement District.
The BID recently put its guide gallery locations online, and will update it quarterly including lists of shows at each space.
