A woman was seriously hurt when she was hit by a bus turning at the boarding point for Circle Line boat tours Wednesday, police and fire officials said.
The woman was trapped under a wheel of the M42 cross town bus at the West Side Highway and 43rd Street.
She was taken to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition, an police said.
A witness said she had been roller skating.
'She was trying tp get past the bus but was hit by it," said Laila Holmes, 21, who works at cycle store Bike & Roll.
"The bus driver clearly didn't see her as he kept rolling. There were four, five other pedestrians shouted and told him that he hit someone.''
The accident happened at 8:09 a.m.
The woman has not been named.
