EAST HARLEM — Police are looking for three suspects in connection with a shooting of a passenger of a livery cab on the corner of East 112th Street and Second Avenue on Tuesday evening, sources said.

Three men in a car were following the livery cab before pulling up alongside it, firing shots and then driving away, police sources said.

The victim, who was hurt around 5:15 p.m., was taken to Metropolitan Hospital in serious, but not life threatening, condition, according to FDNY officials.

A man, who works at Express Deli and Grocery on the corner of East 112th Street and Second Avenue and declined to give his name, said he heard three shots.

"The cab driver jumped out. The car kept rolling," the witness said. "The passenger was in the back covered in blood."
