UPPER EAST SIDE — Simon and Garfunkel fans — and lovers of puns — take heart.  There's a new bread in town called Scarborough Fairway.

It is, of course, made with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.

Fairway's bakery director Sarah Black will be debuting the $1.99 mini-wreath of the herbal bread at the Upper East Side Fairway's Café to Go, which is opening on Monday, Aug. 8.

The café — the first of its kind for Fairway — is located next door to the newly opened supermarket at 240 East 86th St., between Second and Third avenues.

Inside a former Circuit City, the new eatery is designed for New Yorkers on the run and will offer fresh baked goodies, bagels, cookies, sandwiches, salads and Fairway's fresh roasted coffee from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

The Scarborough Fairway bread was indeed created as an ode to the harmonizing duo from Queens and is intended to be eaten at room temperature or served warm with one of Fairway’s many goat or sheep’s milk cheeses, salads, pâtés and grilled or roasted seafood and chicken, supermarket officials said.

Who knows? Maybe Art Garfunkel will stroll in and sample it at the café. He lives nearby on East 79th Street.

Paul Simon, on the other hand, resides on the Upper West Side.
