MANHATTAN - A Bronx man has been charged with mowing down his girlfriend while drunk outside a Midtown bar, sources said.

Ricaury Pena, 28, allegedly plowed his Honda Pilot into the 23-year-old victim on 46th Street, near Sixth Avenue early Saturday morning.

The victim was left with severe head trauma and taken to Bellevue Hospital where she was listed in critical condition.

The scene outside El Tequilazo, where both worked part-time, according to the Daily News, was littered with shattered glass.

After the smashup, Pena allegedly took off and then crashed his car on the Harlem River Drive, near East 177th Street around 8 a.m.

He was listed in critical condition at Harlem Hospital and was charged with assault, vehicular assault and DWI, police said.

Pena's estranged wife, Rosa Estevez, said that the suspect "has kind of issues in his head," according to the News.

El Tequilazo's manager, Roy Sanchez, told the paper that Pena "seemed like a nice guy. I was surprised."
