WEST VILLAGE--Riverflicks for Kids, the free weekly film showings at Pier 46, has canceled its scheduled screening of "The Karate Kid" due to the inclement weather.
The festival, which kicked off Riverflicks for Grown-Ups Wednesday with "The Social Network" on the Pier 63 lawn, had planned to begin its kids' movies Friday night at dusk.
Hudson River Park will now wait to begin its free children's screenings next Friday with "Despicable Me."
