CHELSEA — Looking for a brush with fame?

Artists of all levels and ages will be able to display their masterpieces on the walls of a Chelsea gallery near the High Line next week.

The Hudson Guild, a non-profit at 441 W. 26th St., near 10th Avenue, will host its 14th annual Community Art Jam July 8, a party where anyone can put their work on display in the 20-by-10-foot gallery.

"You can be a 10-year-old or a professional artist," said Mike Yerdon, the Hudson Guild's development manager. "We give you a hammer and a nail, and you put up your piece wherever you like."

Last year the organization received about 60 submissions, said Yerdon. All pieces are accepted, with a size limit of 36-by-48 inches. Each entrant can submit only one piece.

Yerdon said the High Line's recent opening has generated more foot traffic, but he maintained that the Hudson Guild's gallery is distinct from others in the neighborhood.

"We're a community center, we're here for everyone," he said.

The jam is at 6 p.m., and pieces will remain displayed on the first floor of the building until Sept. 6.
