HARLEM - A trio of thieves is wanted for mugging three straphangers, including a 13-year-old girl, at the 135th Street A/B/C train station, police said.

In the first case, the group tried to mug a 43-year-old man who was waiting on the uptown A train platform at the station, near St. Nicholas Avenue, at 1:30 a.m. on April 3.

They grabbed his iPod and cell phone, but the victim fought them off and was able to keep the phone.

He suffered minor injuries in the dustup.

Then, on April 13, they targeted a 41-year-old woman on the uptown A train platform, grabbing her pocketbook and fleeing.

Finally, on May 22, they honed in on a 13-year-old girl on the downtown C train platform, taking her cell phone from her hand.

The girl received an injury to her hand, police said.

In all three cases, one of the suspects takes the property from the victims while the others act as lookouts.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or text tips to 274637(CRIMES) and then enter TIP577.
