MANHATTAN - Congressman Anthony Weiner's days in office may be numbered, according to an online report.
Weiner, embroiled in a sexting scandal that erupted after he accidentally posted racy pictures of himself on Twitter, is saying privately that the media pressure, demands for his resignation and surfacing of new photos of him naked in the Congressional gym could prove to be too much, according to the Daily News.
The new photos, posted on TMZ.com, show Weiner in various states of undress posing in front of a mirror.
However, the congressman, who represents Brooklyn and parts of Queens, has been adamant about staying in office.
Weiner, once considered leading candidate for mayor in 2013, has been in hot water since photos of his crotch surfaced on the internet and he lied about sending them.
That trouble deepend last week when reports surfaced that he exchanged online messages with a 17-year-old Delaware girl.
