INWOOD — A fire broke out in an Inwood apartment building Tuesday morning, an FDNY spokesman said.

The fire at 101 Post Ave. near 204th Street started at 11:41 a.m. inside a second-story apartment, the Fire Department said. There were no reported injuries and the fire was extinguished within the hour, fire officials said.

Firefighters said the damage was limited inside the six-story building.
