A fire broke out in Inwood Saturday morning

INWOOD - A small fire broke out in an Inwood building Saturday morning, fire officials said.

The fire, which started at 10:30 a.m. was confined to the hallway of 37 Payson Ave., near Dyckman Street.

It was placed under control about a half hour later, fire officials said.

There were no injuries.
