Harlem Street Games Keep People Moving

HARLEM — The Parks Department held their fourth annual Harlem Street Games in Thomas Jefferson Park on Saturday.

The event paid homage to classic games from the 60s and 70s, letting people participate in activities like pogo sticks, double-dutch, hula-hoops and stickball. There was also music from the period to keep people moving at the First Avenue park.

Non-profit groups filled the event's Community and Healthy Zone to inform Harlem residents about services available to them.
