Police Search for Upper East Side Burglar

MANHATTAN — Police have released a video of a man suspected of stealing jewelry from an Upper East Side apartment.

The man allegedly snuck into an apartment at 235 E. 73rd St. between Second and Third avenues shortly before 2 p.m. April 4 and made off with jewelry, the NYPD said.

Police said the man was last seen wearing a black-knit hat, gold-rimmed glasses and a dark jacket with a white logo on the chest.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-8477.
