MURRAY HILL — A worker was injured in a fall at a construction site early Monday morning, fire officials said.

The unidentified worker was hurt at roughly 7:42 a.m. at East 37th Street and Park Avenue, the FDNY said. Workers at the scene said he had been working on a project in the 4, 5, 6 line subway tunnels.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, fire officials said. While his condition not immediately clear, the FDNY didn't believe the worker's injuries were life-threatening.

A construction manager at the scene said the worker hurt his shoulder.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority didn't immediately have information on the incident, a spokesman said.
