MURRAY HILL — A man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition after falling into a hole at a construction site at East 34th Street early this morning, the fire department said.

The incident happened about 12:30 a.m. at 34th Street and Park Avenue, according to the FDNY.

The man’s injuries were believed to be non-life threatening, the fire department said.

There is an active work site on the northwest corner of 34th Street and Park Avenue, according to the Department of Building's website, but it is unclear whether the incident occurred at that location.
