MANHATTAN — The life of actress Katie Holmes took another strange turn Tuesday night, when she attended the premiere of her new "film," an avant-garde promotional video for hair dye.

"The Decision," which tells the story of an American actress torn between her hair colorist and a new John Frieda hair product, was celebrated at LAVO NYC on East 58th Street between Park and Madison avenues.

Elsewhere in Midtown, the comedians Rosie Perez, Rachel Dratch and Cedric The Entertainer turned out for opening night of John Leguizamo's new one-man show, "Ghetto Klown," at the Lyceum Theatre.

The play, which follows in the tradition of Leguizamo's Broadway hit "Freak," also drew theater stars Colon Quinn, of "Long Story Short," and Lin-Manuel Miranda, of "In the Heights."

Meanwhile, the Syfy channel rolled the dice by hosting their annual "Upfront," an event where they unveil their shows for the upcoming season, at the Foxwoods Theatre, home of the seemingly cursed "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark."

The network even went so far as to invite the cast of the show, actors Patrick Page and Jennifer Damiano and Reeve Carney, who showed off his superhero pecs in a low-cut v-neck.

The event was held on the same evening news broke that a fifth cast member had been injured during a performance of the controversy-plagued musical.
