MANHATTAN – Lederhosen, dirndls and, of course, Munich's famed Hofbräu Hefe Weizen, will be on tap for Thursday's grand opening for Bierhaus, a Bavarian-style beer hall near Grand Central Terminal.

The bar at Third Avenue and 45th Street is hoping to bring Oktoberfest to Midtown year round — though it be a bit more low-key than the real deal.

"We have tried for many years to find a space in Manhattan that offers a glimpse of what it's all about in Munchen during Oktoberfest," its website says. "We failed."

But the founders — the team behind Bull's Head Tavern, Black Bear Lodge, Whiskey River, and Mad Dog & Beans — said they've come up with an alternative: "Having not been able to find that space we offer you Bierhaus. A more homely, down to earth bier haus."

They're even planning to organize a stammtisch, which in Germany is a table in a pub reserved for regulars. Here, it's a table reserved for people who want to practice their German.

The restaurant, which is lined with communal tables that will likely be crowed with steins, pretzels and sauerkraut balls, had an early opening on Monday, during which the Alpine Squeeze played their accordions for a fundraiser for the German-American Committee of Greater New York's Steuben Parade.

Bierhaus grand opening: Thursday, Mar. 10, 6 – 9 p.m., 712 Third Ave., at 45th Street
