INWOOD — Cooped up kids and parents looking for something to do during February break can head over to the Inwood Hill Park Nature Center for a week’s worth of free activities.

Kids aged 12 and younger can learn about the history and wonders nature in Upper Manhattan’s largest park, with arts and crafts and different themes through the week, including reptiles, trees, wildlife and "Winter Wonder Hike."

Antonio Vivero, a 37-year-old Inwood father of three, said he looked forward to having something to do close to home.

"February break is always difficult, because it's cold," he said. "At least this will get us out of the house."

Workshops are held at the nature center inside the park at 218th Street and Indian Road. Call (212) 304-3401 or check out the website for times and details.
