MIDTOWN — Manhattanites looking to catch a glimpse of Fashion Week glamour need look no further than the Lincoln Center subway platform.

The 66th Street and Broadway 1 train subway stop — the closest stop to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Performing Arts Center — has become an impromptu place to see and be seen. A flurry of wardrobe stylists, makeup artists, fashion writers and models decked out in their best-looking threads are constantly passing through the station on their way to and from shows.

Lolitta Dandoy, a fashion editor for French language, Montreal-based website Clin D'Oeil (French for "a blink of the eye") was spotted in a chic aquamarine colored top, and kept warm with furry earmuffs.

"I came for the Michael Kors show, it was really amazing," Dandoy said, before hopping onto the Downtown 1 train.

Business student Wataru Bob Shimosato sported an all-black look that mixed couture pieces from his head to his toes - with a coat by Helmut Lang, a shirt by Alexander McQueen, pants by Jeremy Scott, and a pair of geometric-wedge-heeled boots by United Nude.

Makeup artist and East Village resident Jenny Kanavara paused to model her Lindsey Thornburg cloak, MARC by Marc Jacobs handbag and Dolce Vita boots before hurrying to the Christian Cota show.

Freelance model and Midtown resident Irvina Moody was already looking forward to the next New York Fashion Week.

"September is the best!" Moody said.
