MANHATTAN CRIMINAL COURT — A Nevada man accused of stalking Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, and harassing them via Twitter failed to show up to a mandatory court hearing on Friday because he can't afford the plane fare, his lawyer claimed.

A judge issued a bench warrant for the arrest and incarceration of Justin Massler, 28, who has been free on $10,000 bail since his March 16, 2010 arrest.

"He's not here and he won't be here. He informed me again he can't afford to get here," Massler's lawyer, George Vomvolauis, told the judge Friday.

In Massler's absence, prosecutors offered his lawyer a plea deal that would allow him to spend a year in psychiatric treatment instead of jail. If he successfully completes the program he would be eligible to plead down to a violation, which would not stay on his record, prosecutors said.

Massler allegedly expressed his love for Ivanka Trump through Twitter and on his website, the "Ivanka Trump Fan Blog," and threatened Trump's media-mogul husband Jared Kushner.

He even threatened to kill himself at a Trump-owned jewelry store in Manhattan if she did not send him an autograph.

"I will specifically kill myself at Ivanka Trump Jewelry which is right by where I live, ruining her whole luxury jewelry line with the presence of a dead guy," he said, according to court documents.

Trump recently announced she was pregnant with her first child with Kushner.

Trump has recently appeared on the "Apprentice" with her billionaire father Donald. Kushner is the owner of the New York Observer
