WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — A man was found dead on a bench at the 168th Street 1 train subway platform Wednesday morning, police said.

The body of the 64-year-old man was found during rush hour at approximately 8:46 a.m. on the northbound side of the station, which sits two levels below Broadway, police said.

Police did not have any further details about the man and said his identity will be released after his family is contacted.

Police do not suspect any criminality.
