Man Expected to Survive Washington Heights Shooting

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — A man was shot early Friday morning on West 191st Street and St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights, police said.

The victim was taken to Columbia Presbyterian and is expected to survive, according to police.

Police did not have any further details about the shooting or any possible suspects. A police investigation is ongoing.
