MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — A woman who claimed her estranged husband threatened to release sex tapes they filmed if she doesn't agree to a divorce settlement favoring him has sued her ex in Manhattan court to prevent the videos from being made public, according to reports.
Lily Shang claimed David Glenn Rucker threatened to release the sex tapes on the Internet — only the clips showing Shang's performance — if she does not agree to a "low financial settlement in the divorce proceedings," the New York Post reported.
Shang is reportedly claiming she is "co-owner" of the videos, which were filmed in their home, under copyright law. Her lawyer is arguing that Rucker would need Shang's written permission to release them.
The couple married in Toronto in April 2009 and and filed for divorce in October of this year, according to the Post.
A lawyer for Shang did not return a call for comment on Wednesday afternoon.
