MANHATTAN — Some New Yorkers may have had it up to their eyeballs with the blizzard of 2010, but three baby tigers at the Bronz Zoo seemed to enjoy it.
it was the baby tigers' first Christmas, and they celebrated by playing in the aftermath of the snowstorm that dumped 20 inches of snow over most of the city on Sunday.
The Amur Siberian cubs are native to Eastern Russian and naturally adapted to the weather, according to a zoo spokesperson.
"Miss Sasha the Amur tiger and her three cubs don't seem to mind a little—or a lot—of the white stuff," the Wildlife Conservation Society posted on the YouTube video. "Watch them pounce through the snow drifts."
The young tigers were not the only big cats enjoying their first snow. The Central Park Zoo said Zoe the Snow Leapord was enjoying the snow too.
Too bad Manhattan commuters couldn't say the same.
