HERALD SQUARE — A snowstorm bearing down on Manhattan didn't deter residents and tourists alike from getting in some after-Christmas shopping.

Some stores boasted of being among the few to brave the post-blizzard snowdrifts to open their doors on Monday, including Patagonia, whose SoHo and Upper West Side locations were set to open for business Monday.

"Yes, we'll be open for business today! 11-7.. Who is skiing in?!!" PatgoniaNYC tweeted Monday morning.

Despite blizzard conditions and high winds Sunday, Macy's drew a heavy crowd of shoppers.

"I'll worry about that later," Tushia Fisher, 42, of Brooklyn Heights, said of the weather as she shopped at Macy's. "What's important is that I get what I want and get it while it's still available."

Rivka Friedlander, 20, who's a Columbia University student living in Morningside Heights, had two friends visiting from Canada and Buffalo.

"We decided to take the city by storm," she said.

Friedlander friends Chanie Antfleck, 20, from Toronto, and Ahbra Mink, 23, from Buffalo, were used to snow, and were more interested in looking for clothes.

"We just wanted to see the Macy's window, and we're keeping our eyes out for the good stuff," Antfleck said. "We're not afraid of a little snow."

Meanwhile, Marlene Vanreene, 47, of Capetown, South Africa, was looking for cold-weather gear.

"I wanted to buy a down coat, so I came to Macy's because it's going to snow this afternoon," Vanreeme said. "I haven't seen snow in New York. I'm going to take pictures for my friends back home on the beach."
