SOHO — A French tourist lost her $4,500 Chanel purse when she left it unattended while shopping in SoHo last week, police said.

The 39-year-old victim left her pocketbook on a chair at Nine West, 577 Broadway, while she looked at shoes about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 3, police said.

When she returned to the chair, she found that her purse — containing an $800 Gucci wallet, a $300 iPhone, a $200 Olympus camera, credit cards and $10 in cash — was gone.

Also last week, a Queens woman lost her pocketbook when she left it inside an H&M fitting room, police said.

The 31-year-old victim told police she left her $100 Vive Maria purse in an unlocked fitting room at H&M, 515 Broadway, about 5 p.m. Nov. 3.

When she returned two minutes later, the purse was gone. She also lost a $200 camera, credit cards and her cell phone.

On Halloween, an Upper West Side man lost his wallet while taking the subway to lower Manhattan, police said.

The man told police he last saw his wallet when he used his MetroCard to board the 1 train on the Upper West Side about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 31.

He put the wallet in his right front pocket, but when he got off the subway at Broadway and Park Place, it was gone, police said.

The victim lost $125 in cash and credit cards, which the thief attempted to use.
