MANHATTAN — A federal judge ruled Wednesday that a lawsuit brought against the Penthouse Club by nine of the strip club's dancers can move forward as a class action, meaning any dancer who worked there in the last three years can join it, reported the New York Daily News.

The dancer Leslie Liwanag initially filed the suit back in February, claiming the Manhattan club at 603 W. 45th St. took 20 percent of the dancers' tips, made them pay for the privilege of performing and regularly cheated them out of overtime, according to the News.

"It's a huge victory for the workers here," said Justin Swarzt, the lawyer who filed the suit on behalf of the dancers, according to the paper. "They filed this case for their co-workers to recover lost wages."
