LOWER MANHATTAN — A tourist from London lost nearly $4,500 worth of goods when somebody swiped his bag from the back of his chair while he was sitting at Harry’s Italian Pizza Bar last week, police said.

The 36-year-old victim placed his bag on the back of his chair at the 2 Gold St. restaurant about 10 p.m. on Oct. 1. Two hours later, he noticed that it was gone, police said.

The bag reportedly contained a $2,000 Lenovo laptop, a $725 Lumix camera, a $600 pair of prescription glasses, a $350 iPod and more.

Also last week, a $2,300 Apple laptop was stolen from the Canal Room at 285 W. Broadway, police said.

A 28-year-old Brooklyn man left the laptop under a table at the music venue about 7 p.m. Sept. 30, police said. When he returned about an hour later, he found that the laptop, which was less than a year old, was gone.
