MANHATTAN — Bad news, coffee addicts: Starbucks is raising its prices again.

The company blamed rising labor and coffee bean costs for the impending price increases, according to a statement on its website.

"The extreme nature of the cost increases has made it untenable for us to continue to do so and we have been forced to take the steps we announced today,” Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz said in a statement.

The price increase is the second this year.

Like the first price hike, Starbucks said it won't raise the price of a regular cup of joe. But it will boost the price of more complicated drinks including caramel frappucinos.

The luxury coffee company may also raise the price of its packaged coffee sold in grocery stores.

Self-professed Starbucks addicts took to the internet to express their disappointment with the news.

"What? Starbucks prices are going up...is that a joke?," Twitter user specialk1177 wrote.

"Coffee may be more pricey lately but come on, I already pay $5! Back to Tim Ho's!!," the user added, referring to the Canadian coffee and doughnut chain Tim Hortons, which recently moved to NYC.

Casual Starbucks drinkers like Jonathan Nail, who was toting an iced coffee, said he would go elsewhere for his caffiene fix.

"I'm probably not going to buy it [if it's more expensive]," he said. "I can make it better at home."
