Woman Holding a Baby Accused of Helping Harlem Home Invasion

HARLEM — Police are looking for three people who allegedly robbed a Harlem apartment with a child in tow last week.

A woman with a kid in her arms allegedly knocked on an apartment in 540 Manhattan Avenue around 1:15 p.m on Sept. 1. The resident opened the door and then two men allegedly pulled out guns and entered the residence.

The armed robbers took money and an iPhone and then fled, according to police. Witness told the NYPD they saw the robbers get out of a silver BMW prior to the incident.

The female suspect is described by police as a 5-foot-5 Hispanic woman in her late 20s or early 30s with a baby.

The other two suspects were described as Hispanic men in their early 20s. One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and the other was wearing a white one with a Yankees cap on.

Police are looking for these three suspects in connection with a robbery at 540 Manhattan Avenue in Harlem on September 1.
