INWOOD — A popular pedestrian bridge will be closed overnight throughout the week in order for the sidewalk to be resurfaced, according to the Parks Department.

Pedestrians and bicyclists who normally take the northbound Henry Hudson Parkway Staff Street Bridge should seek out alternate routes. Pedestrians can use the 181st Street crosswalk along the path or the Broadway Bridge, which connects Marble Hill with Inwood along Broadway, as alternatives.

The sidewalk will be closed from Aug. 3-6 between 10 p.m and 5 a.m. and will not effect vehicular traffic, the Parks Department said.
