UPPER EAST SIDE — Police released a photo of a woman wanted in connection to the gunpoint robbery of a Staples on Second Avenue and East 66th Street on July 25.

The woman is believed to be 25 to 28 years old, between 5-feet-11 and 6-feet-tall, weigh 250 pounds and have black hair with red streaks, police said.

She pulled the gun right when the store was closing and made off with $3,000, the New York Post reported.

The uptown robbery came on the heels of a rash of seven other Staples thefts around Manhattan by a group of four men.

The robbers then migrated to a Staples store on Eighth Avenue between East 35th and East 36th Streets, which they robbed June 20 and July 11, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
