MANHATTAN — Playing a cop on "Law & Order: SVU" didn't help actor Ice-T get out of a tight spot with the NYPD.

Ice-T, whose real name is Tracy Marrow, was arrested for driving with a suspended license in Hell's Kitchen on Tuesday morning, police sources told DNAinfo.

The rapper turned actor was driving in his 2009 Cadillac sedan when he was pulled over at a seat belt checkpoint on 11th Avenue near 40th Street at 9 a.m., police said. Marrow, who was accompanied by his wife Coco, was not wearing a seat belt at the time, according to police.

Marrow was processed at the 10th Precinct in Chelsea where he was issued a desk appearance ticket and then released, police sources said.

The former rapper has starred in several movies, including "Fame," "New Jack City" and "Johnny Mnemonic." He's also done voice work for a handful video games, including the voice of a character in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas."
