WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — The MTA will hold public hearings this week to discuss its proposal to cut customer service assistants at subway stops around New York.

If enacted, three subway stations in Washington Heights could see agents cut. Those include the A/B/C/D station at 145th Street, 1/A/C at 168th Street and A line at 181st Street.

Members of the public interested in testifying at the events can register at the events from 5 to 9 p.m. or by preregistering online or via telephone at 212-878-7483.

Hearings begin at 6 p.m. and will end once all registered speakers have been given a chance to testify.


Tuesday, July 13
