Toast To Fort Tryon Park: Wine Tasting Benefit

The Friends Committee of the Fort Tryon Park Trust celebrates Fort Tryon Park with an evening of wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, and live music to benefit the park.

Proceeds from this year’s “Toast To Fort Tryon Park” will be used for a tree care fund to help repair and restore the park’s trees following extensive storm damage incurred over the winter.

The event also honors local resident Jim Dwyer, a journalist at the New York Times and an author.

When: Thursday, May 27,  6:30 pm to  9:00 pm

Where:  Linden Terrace: Meet on the Linden Terrace. Enter the park from Margaret Corbin Circle where Cabrini Boulevard and Fort Washington Avenue converge. Walk north on Stan Michels Promenade. The welcome tent is at the foot of the Linden Terrace stairs.

Tickets: Advance: $30 per person. Pay in advance by check or credit card.  Tickets at door (if space permits): $40 per person
