HUDSON SQUARE — Carl Weisbrod is leaving Trinity Real Estate at the end of January after serving as president for five years, Crain’s New York Business reported Tuesday.
“I've enjoyed it here a lot,” Weisbrod told Crain’s. “It is just time to do something new and different.”
Weisbrod may stay on after January 2011 as a consultant for Trinity, his spokesman told DNAinfo.
Trinity Real Estate is an arm of Trinity Church, which owns 6 million square feet of space in Hudson Square, west of SoHo.
Weisbrod is also a member of the Lower Manhattan Development Corp. board, appointed by Mayor Bloomberg.
He was the founding president of the Downtown Alliance and also previously led the city Economic Development Corp.
