MANHATTAN — Police are hunting for a man they say robbed more than a dozen high-end Manhattan clothing stores during a seven-month crime spree that began last August.

Mark Perkins, 49, is suspected of ripping off 14 luxury clothing stores, including Michael Kors, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana, between Aug. 7, 2009, and March 14, police said.

In each instance, Perkins allegedly broke the front door of the store and made off with a large amount merchandise, police said.

The suspect is described as standing 5 feet, 7 inches and weighing 175 pounds, with a goatee, black hair and brown eyes, according to police.

The NYPD is aking anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
