MANHATTAN — Campbell Brown's conservative Republican husband Dan Senor has joined the list of possible challengers to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand in the New York race for U.S. Senate, reports said on Wednesday.

Senor was a policy advisor to George W. Bush, is a commentator on Fox News and is a partner at the investment firm Rosemont Capital in New York.

He has been meeting with "political people and money types" a source told the New York Post and may have been involved in polling calls that went out to New York City voters according to TPMMuckraker.

Also on the list of prominent potential Gillibrand rivals is New York Daily News owner Mortimer Zuckerman and former Congressman Harold Ford Jr.
