MANHATTAN — Gov. David Paterson proved that the show must go on Tuesday — despite rumors to the contrary — by announcing his schedule to kick off his campaign.
The governor, who has been dogged by reports of an imminent New York Times scoop, will officially start his campaign on Saturday morning with an event in his hometown Hempstead, Long Island.
Later in the day, Paterson will head up to Rochester for an afternoon announcement with a labor union.
On Sunday the governor will hold a campaign endorsement rally in Harlem at "Our Children's Foundation" on West 125th Street.
