They may not be playing in the Super Bowl, but Eli Manning and Mark Sanchez made the rounds on the morning sports’ talk shows Friday.

Jets quarterback Sanchez visited ESPN’s Mike and Mike In The Morning radio show and The Dan Patrick Show, where he updated Patrick on his knee surgery, game predictions and facial hair status.

Sanchez, whose Jets lost to the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC championship game, said he’ll be watching Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Colts and the New Orleans Saints from his couch.

“Still hurtin’ man,” the Jets rookie said about the season-ending loss to Indianapoilis. “[But] I’m happy for Peyton.”

Sanchez also said he wasn’t surprised by Jets head coach Rex Ryan’s $50,000 fine for flipping off a fan in Miami during an MMA event, saying his coach just got lost in the moment.

“It was just too bad, because he was in character,” he said laughing. “He was almost one of the fighters — that’s totally his personality.”

He assured Patrick that in his busy offseason, posing for another magazine spread, like the one he did for GQ before his rookie season, wasn't his top priority — especially after the hazing he received from his teammates.

"Bart Scott made a slideshow of that shoot that was on every television screen," he said.

Meanwhile, on Mike & Mike, Manning said he had fond childhood memories of New Orleans — where his father played and worked as an announcer after his playing days.

“My dad would just drop us off and say 'Make sure Eli gets a hot dog,'" said Eli, who is rooting for his brother Peyton and the Colts on Sunday.

As happy as Eli is for his brother, he'd much rather be in the Super Bowl himself.

“We’re not going to sit there and accept it,” Manning said about the Giants' disappointing season. “It’s going to be a big offseason for us. We have to take a lot of steps forward.”
