MANHATTAN — Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson died from diabetes complications, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office Thursday.

Officials determined Johnson's cause of death was diabetic ketoacids, a combination of low insulin and high blood sugar, according to the Associated Press.

The 30-year-old socialite was found dead in her Hollywood home in January, prompting rumors of a death brought on by partying.

Johnson headlined tabloids in the last month of her life thanks to a burglary arrest for allegedly taking $20,000 worth of clothes from an ex-girlfriend and becoming engaged to reality TV personality Tila Tequila.

Woody Johnson, Casey's father and owner of the New York Jets, had reportedly cut her off financially. Johnson's mother, Sale, had also taken custody of her three-year-old daughter Ava weeks before her death.
