MANHATTAN — Jets owner Woody Johnson worried his daughter Casey Johnson's hard-partying would lead to a deadly drug overdose like the one that took his brother Keith's life in 1975, the Daily News reported.

Johnson will not know for weeks if drugs in fact led to his daughter's death until toxicology test results are completed, but a Tuesday autopsy ruled out trauma in the heiress' death, according to 1010 Wins.

Casey Johnson, 30, was found dead in her West Hollywood home by a maid on Monday.

Woody Johnson and his ex-wife, Sale, cut off Casey Johnson from her trust fund in an attempt to force her to seek help for her drug and alcohol problems, the New York Post reported.

The home Johnson rented in California had no electricity, water or gas, according to the Post. Johnson struggled with her bills and kept her car hidden so it wouldn't be repossessed, the paper reported.

Once labeled a Manhattan "It" girl along with fellow socialites Paris and Nicky Hilton, Johnson was reported to have begun associating with a seedier crowd.

She announced her engagment reality TV fixture Tila Tequila in December in a video where both women appeared in their underwear. Woody Johnson disapproved of the match, the News reported.

In November, Casey Johnson was charged with grand theft for taking things from former lover Jasmine Lennard's home. Casey Johnson's mother also took custody of her 3-year-old daughter, Ava, out of concern for the child's wellbeing.

Casey Johnson was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes as a child and struggled with her health and addictions. She last visited a rehab facility a few months ago but checked out early, according to the Post.

The family will hold a private funeral for Johnson in New Jersey later this week, the News reported. In honor of the work Johnson did on behalf of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, her family set up a fund in her name, according to the paper.
