MANHATTAN — Visitors and commuters alike have something to look up to this holiday season with the return of a laser light show to Grand Central Terminal Monday for the first time since 2005.
The light show projects a variety of winter-themed images on the terminal's main ceiling 125 feet above the ground.
An opening ceremony for the light show took place Monday afternoon and featured special guests Dr. Mehmet Oz of the "Dr. Oz Show" and Jay Walder, Chairman of the MTA, for the flipping of the switch.
The show consists of six distinct six-minute vignettes, one of which is projected every half hour from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The show will go on for six weeks.
