An Upper West Side man commited suicide in front of his two daughters Wednesday by jumping out of his family's 16th floor apartment window, the New York Post reported.
The unidentified man was 53 and lived in the apartment with his daughters, aged 12 and 16, and his wife, according to the Post.
Neighbors said the man's wife was a curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the paper reported.
He died instantly.
